Bahari Baobab Camp at Ushongo-Beach
We acquired the 25,000sqm property in fall 2012 and have since been developing it.
Our camp consists of five cabin tents generously distributed on the property with a living space of 45sqm each. Each tent comes with a terrace and separate sanitary facilities including wash basin, shower and toilet. With a lot of passion, our tents have been decorated in customary style and offer space for up to three adults. All meals will be served at the Banda, the central meeting point for everybody. At Bahari Baobab Camp, we offer full board. Our team will do their best to fulfill all your wishes.
The camp also includes separate kitchen facilities as well as staff accommodation. We have our own freshwater supply. Additionally, per tent, one liter of bottled drinking water is offered daily free of charge. Power supply is realized with a generator. All our tents feature European-style plug sockets. Close to the camp, the fishing village of Stabu is located. Thus, you will meet the fishermen and their families on the beach. Unlike the touristically developed areas around Africa, no hawkers will bother you here. At Ushongo beach, you will be considered as guests by your local neighbors and will be treated with respect and friendliness.

If you prefer more hustle and bustle, the island of Zanzibar lies at a distance of about 45km and can be reached by boat.
During your whole stay at the camp, you will have a vehicle including driver and German-speaking travel guide at your disposal.
